Back in October, Konami’s revamped version of Silent Hill 2 garnered widespread praise, including a 9/10 from us at Ginx TV. Despite this success, fans are yearning for additional content in the renowned horror series. To meet these demands, Konami has been busy developing various other Silent Hill projects since the launch of the remake. One such project is the eagerly awaited Silent Hill f. However, details about Silent Hill f have been scarce since its unveiling in 2022. Recently, there’s been a hint that more information might be on the horizon as the upcoming title has just been rated by the South Korean Ratings board.
The assessment given by South Korea’s Game Rating and Administration Committee doesn’t disclose anything fresh concerning the forthcoming game. However, the act of Konami submitting the game for rating implies that it might be approaching completion, or possibly slated for launch in the not-too-distant future.
Currently, there’s no announced release date for Silent Hill yet, but we do have information that it is indeed being developed by the studio NeoBards Entertainment, and features the work of Ryukishi07.
In addition to Silent Hill f, Konami has hinted at another Silent Hill game called Townfall being released in the future. This upcoming game is being developed by No Code and was unveiled alongside Silent Hill f during the 2022 Silent Hill Transmission event. Like Silent Hill f, a release date for Townfall has yet to be announced.
