It was even recognized as one of the best games of the year by TopMob, joining titles like Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Hades 2, and Arc Raiders on their list.
NeoBards’ horror game didn’t win any awards at The Game Awards this year, but it was a huge success at The Horror Game Awards 2025, winning four out of its six nominations. It was named Game of the Year and also won awards for Best Narrative, Technical Achievement, and Best Performance by Konatsu Kato. It beat out popular titles like Doom: The Dark Ages, Dying Light: The Beast, MiSide, and R.E.P.O.

Ryukishi07, the lead scriptwriter, expressed their gratitude after the ceremony, saying, “This award wouldn’t have been possible without all of your support! Thank you!”
Konatsu Kato, the lead actress playing Hinako in Silent Hill f, has been a key factor in the game’s growing popularity. She’s described the role as the most challenging of her career, and has said that portraying Hinako’s emotional struggles deeply affected her, almost to the point of feeling mentally unstable.
Even so, Kato and the other actors who play supporting roles are currently livestreaming themselves playing the game, which fans of the series are really enjoying.
