Following their separation, Sia’s soon-to-be ex-husband, Daniel Bernad, is asking for over $250,000 each month in support payments to continue living a lavish lifestyle.
Okay, so I just read that Sia and her husband, Bernad, are getting divorced. It’s pretty sad – they only got married in December 2022 and have a little one who’s about a year and a half old. Apparently, they just grew apart, which is always tough to hear. You probably know Sia from songs like ‘Chandelier’ and ‘Elastic Heart’ – she’s super talented.
In legal filings, Bernad, who used to be a cancer doctor, stated he needed the money to continue the comfortable lifestyle he and his wife shared during their marriage. He explained that after giving up his medical practice to start a business with her, he had become financially reliant on her.
In a court document, he asked the judge to order Sia to pay him $250,856 each month in temporary spousal support.
Bernad stated that his household spent over $400,000 each month on things like private jet travel, lavish vacations, expensive meals, and a large staff. He explained they didn’t need to track their spending. He also asked Sia to pay his legal and accounting bills for the case.
Court records show that Sia’s soon-to-be ex-husband is asking for more than $250,000 each month in spousal support. Sia Furler, the Australian singer famous for songs like “Chandelier” and “Titanium,” filed for divorce from Daniel…

After their divorce, Bernad says she covered the cost of his hotel stay until the end of July, after which he moved into his present residence.
The 47-year-old explained the temporary financial help was needed because Sia, 49, earned the majority of the income.
I need a court order because I rely completely on my wife, Sia, for financial support. I currently have no income of my own, and she has stopped providing funds for my medical expenses. She is able to provide spousal support, which would allow us to continue with our current financial arrangements.
Bernarn explained that he’d have to spend years getting retrained and passing exams if he wanted to return to his old job.
