Shroud grosses out viewers revealing nasty gaming mouse with “living organism” growing

Twitch star shroud shocked viewers when he revealed how dirty his gaming mouse had become.

Michael ‘shroud’ Grzesiek, a former Counter-Strike: Global Offensive pro, is a hugely popular streamer known for excelling at almost any first-person shooter he plays. He’s famous for his incredible aim, clever gameplay, and quick reactions.

He’s incredibly competitive, so it wasn’t shocking to see how nervous he got while playing – his hands even got sweaty during a live stream!

During a short pause, he picked up his mouse and showed viewers how dirty it was, which many found disgusting. Some people even thought they saw something growing on it, like a small organism.

Twitch star shroud’s mouse goes viral after disgusting the internet

Holding up his mouse to the camera, the Polish-Canadian creator asked his audience, “Seriously, is this disgusting, or is it just me?” He admitted he wasn’t sure if it was something to be concerned about.

A dirty, sticky mouse was covered in grime, and viewers watching asked him to clean it up.

I was playing World of Warcraft and my mouse pad snagged on something, causing a piece to break off. It also pulled all the dirt and grime from the back onto the front, and I accidentally rubbed it all over the pad – it was really disgusting. Now my mousepad is stained with streaks.

A video from the stream quickly spread online, becoming popular on X, where many viewers expressed their disappointment with the gaming equipment.

Shroud’s mouse is basically growing a living organism, is this normal? 💀

A popular Call of Duty account, Modern Warzone, jokingly wondered if Michael ‘Shroud’ Grzesiek’s mouse is growing something on it, asking if it’s normal.

Someone else commented that the grime comes from hands and affects controllers as well, but the sheer amount of buildup was shocking.

Streamer RLaw pointed out the situation is getting surprisingly little criticism. He mentioned he streamed for over three years with the same mouse and never needed to clean it to that extent. RLaw also noted he’d run a longer subathon than shroud, and believes the only explanation for the mouse’s condition is poor hygiene.

Shroud isn’t the only streamer to shock viewers with questionable habits. Asmongold has famously gone for months without showering and once had deceased animals inside his home.

If your mouse gets as dirty as Grzesiek’s, especially if you play PC games often, it’s a good idea to clean it. A dirty mouse can negatively affect your gaming experience, and nobody wants that!
