Shiren the Wanderer 6 mini-concert with traditional Japanese instruments will be held in Tokyo on December 6

On December 6th in Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan, there will be a small concert showcasing music from the newest Shiren the Wanderer game. The music will feature traditional Japanese instruments and is based on the sixth main game in the series, known in English as Shiren the Wanderer: The Mystery Dungeon of Serpentcoil Island.

The Famikoto group will perform music from the game live, using traditional Japanese instruments like the koto, shamisen, and shakuhachi. The concert will be held at the event space on the 8th floor of Shinjuku Marui Men, with shows at 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM Japan Standard Time. Special guest Keisuke Ito, the game’s composer, will also be there.

The concert is connected to a special pop-up shop celebrating 30 years of the Shiren the Wanderer series. Access to the concert will be granted through the pop-up shop, which will be open at the same location from November 28th to December 14th.

Spend at least 5,000 yen in a single purchase at the pop-up store by December 6th, and you’ll be entered into a lottery for priority access to the concert. If you apply on December 6th between 11:00 AM and 1:30 PM Japan Standard Time, you can try for tickets to the afternoon concert at 2:00 PM JST. A later application session from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM JST will be for the evening concert at 5:00 PM JST. If you don’t apply, you might still be able to attend if there are seats available.

Shiren the Wanderer: The Mystery Dungeon of Serpentcoil Island is now available on Nintendo Switch and PC through Steam. Spike Chunsoft has also announced that mobile versions of the game will be released in Japan for both iOS and Android devices.
