The show, which once captivated audiences with its enigmatic allure and rose to fame as a cultural phenomenon, eventually became both intriguing and disappointing during its run. However, the mastermind behind the cryptic television series Severance has vowed that it will draw upon the lessons learned from Lost’s experience.
In a more relaxed and conversational style: The first season of Severance became incredibly popular by placing its characters in bizarre situations, a characteristic that’s been wonderfully continued in Season 2. When Lost, created by Jeffrey Lieber, J.J. Abrams, and Damon Lindelof, was airing, it gained international acclaim for similar reasons before wrapping up with an ending that remains one of the most debated in television history.
Dan Erickson, the mind behind Severance on Apple TV+, shares that the show will take lessons from what some consider to be mistakes made by the hit series Lost.
Severance won’t become another Lost, Erickson promises
