It’s always heartwarming to see Seth Meyers include his family on his show, and this Thanksgiving was no exception! His kids, Ashe, Adelaide, and Axel, joined him on Late Night. Earlier that day, they’d taken their yearly Christmas photo, and Adelaide joked that her outfit made her look like Elphaba (or maybe just ‘Alphabet’). She playfully labeled her brothers as the ‘sweet’ one (Ashe) and the ‘rough’ one (Axel). Adelaide also didn’t hold back when describing New York City, telling everyone the subway “smelled like diarrhea” – a refreshingly honest assessment!

The show also featured a bit about Josh Meyers’ impressive impression of Gavin Newsom. While it first appeared on Late Night, Jimmy Kimmel Live! has used it most often, with Meyers and Seth frequently performing it together, including at Kimmel’s recent shows in Brooklyn. Seth recounted how Josh rode onto the stage on a city bike, circled around, and jumped off while it was still moving before delivering his first line. He then jokingly asked his mother which of her two sons she’d trust more to ride a bike on stage. Without hesitation, Hilary Meyers replied, “Oh Seth, you have no sense of balance.” It seems Adelaide has inherited her grandmother’s direct and honest personality.
