Selma Blair to Star in Supernatural Thriller ‘Silent,’ Architect Launching at EFM (EXCLUSIVE)

Actress Selma Blair will be starring as the main character in the forthcoming supernatural thriller titled “Silent,” which is being directed by the movie-making team Doron and Yoaz Paz, known for their works such as “Jerusalem” and “The Golem.

The movie, jointly produced by Roundtable Entertainment and Templeheart Films, will be introduced by Architect before the European Film Market (EFM). Architect handles global distribution rights for the film and is collaborating with Roundtable for the North American market’s rights. Filming is scheduled to commence in Vancouver this summer.

In the movie “Silent,” Blair’s character, Skylar, takes on the role of a secretly hired sound designer tasked with crafting the audio for a unique silent film. Troubled by its disturbing content, Skylar becomes more and more captivated by her work, unaware that she is being drawn into a sinister ritual. This ritual inadvertently awakens an age-old evil, which could potentially devour not only Skylar but also her little daughter.

Sean Robins (known for “Mortal Kombat” and “Tag”), Marcia Do Vales, John Baldecchi (“Happy Death Day,” “Point Break”), and Sarah Donnelly (“All My Friends Are Dead”) are serving as producers on the project. In front of the camera, an accomplished team of technicians is gathered by the filmmakers, featuring BAFTA-nominated sound designer Richard Kondal, known for his work on “47 Meters Down” series, “I Am Not a Witch,” and “Under the Shadow”, as well as cinematographer Itai Neeman, who has contributed to projects such as “Spy”, “Outer Banks”, and “Homeland”.
