The western movie titled “The Isolate Thief,” produced by Hideout Pictures, has recently expanded its cast to include Joe Pantoliano, known for his role in “The Sopranos”; Ty Simpkins, famous from the “Insidious” series; Jack Kesy, recognized for his work on “The Strain”; Martin Sensmeier, who starred in “The Magnificent Seven”; and country music sensation Bryan Martin.
In addition to the previously announced cast members Sean Bean (“The Lord of the Rings”), Mackenzie Foy (“Interstellar”), and Odeya Rush (“Lady Bird”), they will also join the team for “The Isolate Thief”. Filming for this project started in Little Rock, Arkansas, back in December 2024.
The story unfolds in the aftermath of the U.S. Civil War, where a young woman finds herself in possession of gold she’s stolen from dangerous outlaws who now rule her isolated settlement. These men are relentlessly chasing the loot, so our heroine must constantly outsmart and trick these brutal bandits to stay safe. In the midst of a harsh winter, survival becomes a treacherous dance of wit and deceit.
The movie is being directed by John Suits (known for “3022”) based on a screenplay by Kevin Lefler. The film is being produced by Shannon Houchins, notable for “Old Henry” and “Greedy People,” along with Vince Jolivette (“Zola,” “The Disaster Artist”), Travis Mann (“Reagan”), and Margaret Miller. Dave Roberts and Potsy Ponciroli, the writer and director of “Old Henry,” are serving as executive producers.
