Bandai Namco’s SD Gundam G Generation Eternal has been recognized as a top mobile game by Google Play, winning awards in 10 countries and regions for 2025. It was named the Best Game of the Year in three locations and received the Best Story award in seven others, all within East and Southeast Asia.
The full rundown of the countries/territories where the game won the awards is as follows:
- Best Game of 2025 – Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau
- Best Story – Japan, South Korea, Indonesia, The Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand

G Generation Eternal has proven to be incredibly successful, earning over $200 million in its first five months. Its popularity likely stems from its faithful adaptation of classic Gundam storylines, alongside new content like Gundam SEED Recollection, which helped the game win awards for its story.
So, I was excited to hear that SD Gundam G Generation Eternal isn’t just for phones anymore! Bandai Namco brought it to PC through Google Play Games, and it’s totally free to play. Now I can enjoy building my ultimate Gundam army on a bigger screen!
