I was so excited to read that *SD Gundam G Generation Eternal* has already made over $200 million worldwide! Sensor Tower Japan put the numbers together, looking at data from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store between the game’s launch on April 16th and September 15th. That’s amazing for a mobile game!
The research showed that G Gen Eternal earned the most revenue of any mobile turn-based strategy game during the observed timeframe, bringing in roughly eight times the income of games like Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus and Fire Emblem Heroes.
I’m not surprised to hear that Japan is really driving the success of Dragon Ball Legends! Even though the game launched everywhere, it seems like Japan is contributing the most players and spending the most money. Sensor Tower pointed out that a lot of the activity is coming from big cities like Tokyo, Kanagawa, Osaka, and Hyogo – it’s awesome to see so much support from Japanese fans!

SD Gundam G Generation Eternal is now available on both Android and iOS devices. While Bandai Namco has been consistently updating the game with new characters and mobile suits from across the Gundam universe, the recent addition of a new storyline based on Gundam SEED Recollection seems to have significantly boosted the game’s popularity and player base.
