Schedule 1 dev announces new game studio & reveals 2026 update

The popular game, Schedule 1, is expanding! Its creator, Tyler, has officially established TVGS as a game studio, meaning players can expect a lot more content in the future.

Schedule 1 became incredibly popular, seemingly out of nowhere. Within a short time, hundreds of thousands of players were hooked, enjoying the game’s drug dealer simulation and building their businesses. Remarkably, the entire game was created by just one person, Tyler, who’s been working hard to release updates and keep players engaged.

Things are looking up for the game! Tyler has officially turned his solo development work (under the name TVGS) into a full game studio. This means we can expect updates and fixes to come much faster, as more people are now working on the game’s future.

Schedule 1 reveals early 2026 plans

Sharing the news on Steam, Tyler explained that “TVGS is now an actual game studio! We’ve got an office in Sydney, and a new developer, Rob, who has just started. We’re also in the process of recruiting a 3D/technical artist. By the end of the year, there will likely be 4 people working on Schedule I.”

This indicates that Schedule 1 isn’t finished, and we can probably expect to see more games like these from the company down the line.

He also mentioned they’re planning to release an update next week to fix bugs and make some quality-of-life improvements, meaning fans should see changes soon for Schedule 1.

After that, they announced their goal to ensure the game is well-positioned for future updates and improvements. They also mentioned this is an important step towards enabling official mod support, suggesting it could be available soon.

Tyler announced that work on the next update will start once the current one is complete. He anticipates finishing the current update around late February, but wants to wait until they’re certain of a release date before making a firm announcement.

Games like Megabonk, Ball x Pit, and My Winter Car have had their moments in the spotlight, but Schedule 1 appears to be a lasting presence, especially now that they’ve become an official game development studio with more projects planned.
