Her son announced her passing on January 5, 2026, stating she died at her home in San Diego on December 12, 2025. Trcka began her career as a successful bodybuilder and continued to be recognized in that field even after becoming an actress with Scary Movie.
The reason for Trcka’s death is currently unclear. Her son reported she hadn’t been ill. However, a medical advisor in San Diego told The Sun that while there was evidence of physical trauma, they couldn’t determine the cause of death. Scary Movie was just one of her many appearances in film and television.
Following her role in the popular horror comedy Scary Movie, Trcka continued to work in comedy, appearing in the 2006 film Cattle Call and on shows like Adult Swim’s Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!, Whose Line is it Anyway?, and The Drew Carey Show. Many fans who came of age in the 2000s will also remember her from Lady Gaga and Beyoncé’s iconic “Telephone” music video, which became a significant moment for LGBTQ+ representation.
