The tables have turned! Ryan Gosling was upstaged by Harry Styles during his recent SNL monologue. Styles initially claimed he was just checking out the stage, but it was clear he was trying to distract Gosling and steal the show. Everyone knows Styles is very concerned with how SNL hosts are ranked online. Now, Gosling is introducing Styles as the musical guest? Could their earlier interaction have been a playful act? It seems unlikely. This is clearly payback! Lorne Michaels, feeling bad that Gosling seemed to try and one-up Styles, brought out Paul Simon to introduce Styles for his second performance. This kind of behind-the-scenes camaraderie is exactly what we’ll see more of in the upcoming Lorne Michaels documentary.
