The first official posters and a short preview video for the upcoming Street Fighter movie have been released. These new promotional materials reveal the character looks for stars like Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, Andrew Schulz, Jason Momoa, and others in the live-action film.
Both Rhodes and Reigns had makeup looks that closely resembled their characters, Guile and Akuma. However, they were surprised by Jason Momoa’s transformation into Blanka. Momoa shared behind-the-scenes videos on his Instagram Stories showing Reigns and Rhodes reacting to his look during the teaser launch.
Okay, so Jason Momoa – or, as I like to call him, Momoa! – just posted this awesome video. He introduced Roman Reigns, and it was hilarious because Momoa was like, “It’s the two Big Joes meeting!” and Reigns played along, calling him “Big Joe, baby!” But the best part? Momoa showed Reigns what he’s going to look like as Blanka, and Reigns’ jaw just dropped! He looked totally amazed. It was a really cool moment to see those two react to each other.

“F*****g fierce dude,” Reigns stated.
Later in the video, Momoa showed his character to Cody Rhodes, someone he hadn’t filmed with yet. Rhodes reacted similarly to Reigns, saying, “That’s intense. Really wild. You look fantastic.”
The movie Street Fighter, directed by Kitao Sakurai and produced by Legendary Pictures, is set to come out in theaters on October 16, 2026.
