Robert Irwin continued to move audiences on Dancing with the Stars, dedicating his latest dance to a family member and earning a perfect score. For the show’s 20th anniversary, Irwin and his partner Witney Carson performed a foxtrot to “Footprints in the Sand,” a tribute to his sister Bindi’s performance in 2015, when she danced in memory of their father, Steve Irwin. Earlier this season, Robert danced with his mother, Terri, for dedication night. The emotional foxtrot was beautifully performed, and at the end, Bindi surprised Robert by joining him on the dance floor. They then watched a touching video of their family with their father, which overwhelmed Robert with emotion. Bindi and Witney comforted him as he became visibly moved. The performance earned a perfect 40/40 – the first of the season – mirroring Bindi’s score when she won the competition.
