Robert Downey Jr., Cillian Murphy, Emma Stone and Da’Vine Joy Randolph to Present at 2025 Oscars

The 2025 Oscars will see a return of last year’s winners Emma Stone, Cillian Murphy, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, and Robert Downey Jr., who will grace the stage as presenters.

In the awards ceremony, Stone bagged the title of Best Actress for portraying Bella Baxter in Yorgos Lanthimos’ “Poor Things”; Murphy earned his Best Actor award for his role as J. Robert Oppenheimer in Christopher Nolan’s movie “Oppenheimer”; Randolph snatched the Best Supporting Actress trophy for her acting skills as Mary Lamb in Alexander Payne’s film “The Holdovers”; and Downey Jr. clinched the Best Supporting Actor accolade by playing Lewis Strauss in the same movie, “Oppenheimer.

Stone has been honored with the Oscar twice, with her initial win being attributed to her performance in Damien Chazelle’s “La La Land.” Meanwhile, Murphy, Randolph, and Downey Jr. each claimed their first Oscars in the year 2024.

Upon receiving her second Oscar, Stone shared with the audience that she had been “nervously anxious” about the prospect of winning the award. Yorgos [Lanthimos] advised her, “just forget yourself.” And he was correct, as it’s not about individual glory. It’s about a collaborative effort that combined to create something more profound than the simple sum of its components.

Additional presenters for this year’s ceremony have yet to be announced.

Conan O’Brien is set to emcee the 97th Academy Awards, taking place at the Dolby Theatre on March 2nd (4 p.m. PT and 7 p.m. ET). For those interested, they can catch the event live on ABC or via streaming on Hulu, a new feature introduced for this year’s ceremony. The broadcast of the red carpet will commence 30 minutes prior to the actual event.

I’m thrilled to be part of a fantastic production team that boasts executive producer Raj Kapoor, showrunner Katy Mullan, and co-executive producer Rob Pain, along with producers Sarah Levine Hall, Taryn Hurd, Jeff Ross, and Mike Sweeney. Mandy Moore takes charge as the supervising choreographer, while Noah Mitz and Bob Dickinson lend their expertise as lighting designers. Hamish Hamilton will helm the direction of this remarkable show.
