I’ve long admired the remarkable filmography of Wladyka, particularly his two exceptional features, “Manos Sucias” and “Catch the Fair One.” The latter not only garnered critical acclaim but also catapulted boxing champion and Emmy nominee Kali Reis onto the big screen as a captivating new talent.

In the year 2007, Rinko Kikuchi made history by being the first Japanese actress to receive an Academy Award nomination in half a century, for her role in Alejandro G. Iñárritu’s movie “Babel”.
