As a big Nintendo fan, I was really surprised and excited to see the first special edition Pro Controller for the Switch 2! It’s themed after the upcoming Resident Evil Requiem game, which looks amazing. You can already preorder it for $100 at Best Buy and the Nintendo Store, and it’ll be released on February 27, 2026 – the same day the game comes out. I definitely need to get my hands on this!
Switch owners can now preorder two special, limited-edition physical versions of Requiem for $90 each. The Resident Evil Generation Pack includes Requiem, the Gold Editions of Resident Evil Village and Resident Evil 7. Nintendo plans to release a new Amiibo figure based on Grace Ashcroft, the main character from the game Requiem, for the Switch 2. While details like the design and cost are still unknown, similar Street Fighter 6 Amiibo sell for around $40, so it’s likely to be in that price range. Fans will have to wait a bit to get their hands on it, though, as it’s not expected to be available until Summer 2026.
