The Game Awards isn’t just for revealing new games; it’s also a chance to highlight titles players already know about. Capcom used the event to share a fresh trailer for Resident Evil Requiem and officially confirmed details about the game’s central mystery, which had been circulating in reports.
It’s been confirmed since June that a new main installment in the popular Japanese game series is in development. The game is scheduled to launch on February 27th for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch 2.
Resident Evil Requiem will let players control Grace Ashcroft too. Because she isn’t a skilled fighter, the game will focus more on creating a scary and suspenseful atmosphere. But don’t worry, there will still be plenty of action and opportunities to fight enemies, just like in other Resident Evil games.
