Rocket League Season 20 starts strong this September with new tournaments from Repeat, including the return of the popular Carry Team Invitational (CTI).
Gamers have the chance to win prizes both within the game and real money, and some lucky players will even get to play with pros during a live event on September 27th and 28th at 1 PM Eastern Time.
Daily Season 20 tournaments
From September 4th to 29th, Repeat will be holding daily Rocket League tournaments. These tournaments will feature a variety of game modes, like the standard 3v3 and 2v2 ranked matches, as well as fun options like Hoops, Dropshot, Rumble, and Snow Day.
Everyone who participates in the daily leaderboards will get free in-game rewards. The top 40% of players will also win cash prizes.
To celebrate Season 20, Repeat is hosting a $5,000 competition! The top 1,000 players will get 5 Deluxe Drops each, and everyone else who participates will receive 1 Deluxe Drop.
CTI qualifiers and main event
Sign-ups for the Carry Team Invitational qualifiers are open from September 16th to 25th. The top four players from both North America and Europe will advance to the main CTI event, based on separate leaderboards for each region. Everyone who participates will get Deluxe Drops, and the best 40% of players will also win cash prizes.
The final matches will be broadcast on September 27th at 1 PM Eastern Time for viewers in North America, and on September 28th at 1 PM Eastern Time for those in Europe.
Each regional event will include six professional gamers and content creators, teamed up with four players who win qualifying matches and two fans chosen live from the Twitch chat during the stream. The six amateur players will be chosen completely at random.
Cash bounties and pro showmatches
The Carry Team Invitational features a special bounty system: players can win real money by completing in-game feats like scoring goals, making saves, and performing demos. In the final show match, professional players and their amateur teammates will share doubled bounty rewards, offering several ways to win prizes.
How to take part
Players can join the fun by signing up for either the daily tournaments or the CTI qualifiers on Repeat. Everyone who plays will receive in-game rewards, and four players from each region will be randomly chosen to compete in the broadcast finals.
During the broadcasts on September 27th and 28th, viewers watching the live chat could be chosen to play Rocket League with professional players.
