Poisoft, a Japanese indie game studio, has launched a Steam page for their upcoming game, Reminiscence of Gusuku: Card and Explore. They’ve also announced the game, a deckbuilding roguelite, will be released on January 9. According to SteamDB, the game will launch at midnight Japan time, meaning players in many parts of the world will be able to play it starting on January 8.
Okay, so I’m dropped onto this island called Gusuku, and it’s totally overrun with monsters. The whole game revolves around card battles – you build a deck and fight with it. Luckily, I can get new cards by winning battles or stumbling across events. And it’s not just me against the world; I’ll meet some friendly characters along the way who’ll help me out in different ways, even if they’re not directly fighting with me.
Here are the official Japanese screenshots for Reminiscence of Gusuku: Card and Explore. While an English version will be available, the developers, Poisoft, have stated they used AI for the translation. The game’s Steam page also notes that it uses an anti-cheat system called CodeStage Anti-Cheat Toolkit (ACTk / Ultimate Anti-Cheat Toolkit).
