RaKai’s mother forces him to move back home over insults toward QTCinderella

A teenage Twitch streamer named RaKai shared a phone call with his mother on his broadcast. During the call, she asked him to move back home because of things he said about another streamer, QTCinderella.

QTCinderella’s Streamer Awards, held on December 6th, received a somewhat negative reaction. Some viewers and people at the event were upset by jokes made during the show, specifically comments about the weight of streamer Caseoh and a remark about RaKai being accused of stealing.

She asked him about the ‘coolest thing he’d ever stolen,’ bringing up an incident where he gave a woman flowers without paying for them, effectively having her unknowingly walk away with stolen goods. This led to a temporary ban from Twitch, and the length of that ban is still unknown.

So, on December 8th, I was watching RaKai’s reaction to a clip of me asking him something on his stream. Honestly, it didn’t go well – he totally went off on QT, saying some pretty harsh things about her because of it. It was a bit of a mess to watch, to be real.

I was planning to say something incredibly rude and confrontational to her. I was going to ask, in front of everyone, about the most intimate experience she’d had, using very offensive language.

Rakai was visibly upset with QTCinderella after she made some awkward jokes at his expense during the streamer awards.

RaKai’s mother punishes son over remarks toward QTCinderella

RaKai’s outburst caused quite a stir, even reaching his mother. She was so upset that she called him out during a live stream on December 9th, scolding him in front of everyone watching.

So, during the call, she was totally asking if I actually said that stuff about QTCinderella. She sounded really concerned, like, ‘Are you serious right now?’ and then told me I was way out of line and needed to act better. It was pretty awkward, honestly.

I’m very disappointed in how you spoke to her. I taught you to be more respectful, and that behavior is unacceptable. Because you’re acting this way, I’m making you come home. I’ll book your flight for tomorrow.

People online joked about the lecture his mom gave him, but most thought the punishment was fair. Even Twitch streamer Silky weighed in, suggesting RaKai needs advice from more experienced people in the streaming community to help him stay on track.

Silky strongly disagreed with the person’s behavior, stating, “I’m not defending him at all. You should never call anyone, especially a woman, that kind of name. He’s very young and immature – he simply doesn’t have any maturity.”

Silky believes RaKai needs guidance from those around him to help him grow up, especially after his recent struggles on QT. She suggests that being around other people who are also struggling won’t help him improve, saying, “He’s acting like a child…if a teenager is surrounded by others who are also struggling, what do you expect? He’ll struggle too!”

This situation follows RaKai’s explanation of why he was banned from Twitch. He stated that his assistant ensured a woman didn’t leave with the flowers he’d given her, but accidentally failed to pay for them.
