Rainbow Six Siege has been hacked again, shortly after a large-scale issue over the holidays where players received billions of in-game credits and were unexpectedly banned.
As a huge Rainbow Six Siege player, I was totally shocked on December 27th, 2025! It seemed like a lot of people were getting tons of free in-game currency, which meant they could unlock all sorts of cool skins and items. But it wasn’t all good news – right alongside that, a bunch of players were suddenly getting banned because the game servers had been hacked. It was a really weird and frustrating day for the community.
Ubisoft quickly fixed the problem and restored the game to how it was before the hack, eliminating the unfair bans and any unauthorized credits or purchases. But the situation isn’t fully resolved yet.
Rainbow Six Siege sees tons of bans in new breach
Many Rainbow Six Siege players have reported a new wave of unexpected bans on social media. These bans, lasting 67 days – a reference to the popular ‘6-7’ meme – are being issued without any prior notification.
Ugh, Rainbow Six Siege is having problems again. I’m seeing everyone on social media freaking out because they’re getting banned for 67 days – it’s all over my feed! Apparently, it’s tied to this ‘Six Seven’ meme, which is just…great. Another round of false bans, it seems.

Many users are reporting account suspensions, preventing them from playing. This issue seems to be affecting both content creators and regular players, and bans are consistently lasting the same amount of time.
The Rainbow Six Siege service status page is currently showing significant problems with the game. Players are experiencing issues with logging in, finding matches, and accessing the in-game store on all platforms. The game’s connection is unstable, and developers are looking into the problems. They appreciate players’ patience while they work on a fix.
Although Ubisoft hasn’t officially commented on the recent hack online, they seem to know about it and are looking into the problem.
