A free demo for Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army is now available on Steam. PlayStation 5 and Switch 2 players can try it out starting at 9 PM Pacific Time tonight.
I’m so excited they released a demo! You can play through the prologue and the first episode to get a feel for the game. And the best part? Your save data actually transfers over to the full game when it launches! To celebrate, Atlus also dropped a brand new trailer showing off Raidou Remastered – it looks amazing!
So, Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army came out earlier this year on pretty much everything – PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, regular Switch, and PC (via Steam). If you’re thinking of picking it up, I’ve already put together a full review you should check out, and I also did a deep dive looking at how it runs on the Switch 2, Switch, Steam Deck, and ROG Ally. Atlus has released a free demo for Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army, their action RPG. You can download it now on Steam, and it will be available on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch later tonight at 9 PM Pacific Time.
The demo lets you play through the beginning of the story, where Raidou Kuzunoha XIV and his demon companions investigate a puzzling mystery. You’ll start with the Prologue and Episode 1, teaming up with demons – there are over 120 to choose from – to help Raidou on his quest. What begins as a simple missing person case quickly grows into a nationwide conspiracy that threatens the capital and beyond.
Good news for anyone who played the demo! Your progress actually carries over to the full game, so you can pick up right where you stopped and keep solving mysteries as a supernatural detective. It’s awesome not having to start all over!
Raidou Remastered is an updated version of the classic PlayStation 2 action RPG, Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. The Soulless Army. It boasts a revamped combat system, improved visuals, full voice acting for the main story, and several gameplay improvements to make it more enjoyable.
Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army is now available on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4 and 5, Nintendo Switch, and Steam. You can find more details on the game’s official website.
If you played the demo and are now starting the full game, be careful not to accidentally erase your progress. Both versions use the same save slot, so loading a demo save will overwrite your full game data.
