Krafton announced PUBG: Black Budget, a new extraction shooter game based on the popular PUBG universe. The first chance to play it will be in December with an initial test session.
Extraction shooters have become increasingly popular lately. Games like Escape from Tarkov were among the first to introduce the core idea – battling for valuable items and trying to escape without losing them – and now many others, including Gray Zone Warfare and Arc Raiders, are following this trend.
PUBG is entering the tactical extraction shooter market with a new game called PUBG: Black Budget. It focuses on creating a suspenseful experience where players must survive and face unpredictable challenges.
In this game, you take on the role of a Contractor sent to a remote, dangerous island caught in a time loop. Your mission is to sneak in, locate valuable artifacts, and solve the mystery behind the strange supernatural events—all while battling both other players and computer-controlled enemies to survive.

The developers say the island changes and becomes more dangerous with each playthrough, making it harder to survive the longer you stay. Between attempts, you can improve your characters and create new equipment at your base, which you can expand using resources gathered on the island.
If this game seems interesting to you, Steam users can try out an early version in December.
