PS5, PS4 Game Releases on PSN from January 26 to February 1

Even though it’s still early in 2026, there are plenty of great games available to play. In fact, despite a potentially quiet week for new releases, several exciting games are coming out this week.

If you’re curious about new games for PS5 and PS4 this week, you’ve come to the right place! We’ve put together a list of all the latest releases.

While most new games are made for the PS5, the PS4 continues to receive some new releases, which is surprising.

PS5, PS4 Games Releasing This Week

Okay, so this week the PlayStation Store is getting 12 new games for both PS5 and PS4. A lot of them are smaller indie projects, but there are definitely a few that I’m excited about and think other gamers should check out.

Release Highlights For January 26 To February 1, 2026

Highguard, launching January 26th on PS5, is a new free-to-play multiplayer shooter developed by the team behind popular games like Apex Legends and Titanfall. We’ve had a chance to play it, and our preview has all the details.

Code Vein 2, launching January 30th on PS5, is the highly anticipated sequel to Bandai Namco’s action-RPG. Set in a post-apocalyptic world, the game boasts a time-bending story and a distinctive combat system. Players can even create characters in a demo version and carry them over to the full game when it releases.

Front Mission 3 Remake arrives January 30th on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. This game is a fresh take on the third installment in the tactical RPG series, offering extensive mech customization and a story centered around global conflicts and military secrets.
