The trailer for season 2 of the Prime Video series House of David is now available. The new season will start streaming in March.
The trailer for season 2 of House of David is out now, giving viewers a glimpse of what happens after David’s victory over Goliath. The trailer opens with a large battle scene and a voiceover proclaiming, “David, what you have done here will never be forgotten.”
David is initially welcomed into King Saul’s court and begins his training as a hero. However, Saul’s son is secretly warned that David is a rival for the throne. The royal family feels threatened by David’s growing popularity and begins to plot against him, fearing they will lose power. Rumors even spread suggesting David is reckless and a threat to his own safety.
David first praises the king, describing him as just and kind. Then, he enjoys a peaceful, intimate moment with Michal, his love. Soon after, the atmosphere shifts as sounds of approaching war fill the air. David’s loyal supporters are prepared to fight by his side and believe he would make a great king.
Saul claims to be God’s chosen king and that God supports him. After declaring he’s done with his work, the prophet Samuel tells him this is actually just the start of his troubles. Later, Saul tries to warn David that actions have consequences, but David quickly replies that dishonesty also has repercussions.
The trailer continues with exciting scenes of battles featuring horses, swords, and arrows. Saul then learns the “traitor” has been living under his roof the entire time, deeply unsettling him. The trailer concludes with David declaring that God has chosen him for a special purpose.
