In the movie 56 Days, Dove Cameron and Avan Jogia play Ciara and Oliver, a couple whose passionate relationship quickly becomes strained. Just 56 days after meeting, a dead body is found in the apartment they spontaneously shared during the COVID-19 lockdown. While investigating the murder, police also work to identify the badly decomposed body found in the couple’s bathtub.
The series 56 Days revolves around a central mystery: did Oliver or Ciara kill each other, or is one of them the killer? Detectives investigate their relationship to find out what happened. Karla Souza, famous for her role as Laurel in How to Get Away with Murder, plays detective Lee Reardon, and Dorian Missick, known from Southland, plays detective Karl Connolly.
