‘Prime Target’ Trailer: Leo Woodall and Quintessa Swindell Uncover Conspiracy (TV Roundup)

Apple TV+’s debuted the initial teaser trailer for the eight-part series titled “Prime Target,” captivating audiences by hinting at a mysterious plot line and the destiny of our planet.

Leo Woodall portrays the character of Edward Brooks (“The White Lotus”), an exceptionally talented postgraduate in mathematics on the verge of a groundbreaking discovery regarding prime number sequences. Following an encounter with a NSA agent, played by Quintessa Swindell (“Black Adam”), the duo join forces to unravel a concerning mystery as malicious forces attempt to sabotage Edward’s invention that holds the potential to open every computer.

In addition to the main actors, you’ll find Stephen Rea, David Morrissey, Martha Plimpton, Sidse Babett Knudsen, Jason Flemyng, and Harry Lloyd, as well as a few more, in this production.

The series ‘Prime Target’, written by Steve Thompson (‘Sherlock’), will make its debut on January 22, exclusively on Apple TV+. Subsequent episodes will be released weekly after that.

CASTING

Prime Video has announced five new cast members for season three of “The Wheel of Time.”

Five new actors – Isabella Bucceri, Nukâka Coster-Waldau, Salóme Gunnarsdóttir, Björn Landberg, and Synnøve Madocy Lund – have been added to the cast of Prime Video’s fantasy drama series. Isabella will portray Faile Bashere, a skilled Hunter of the Horn from Saldaea, who is on a quest to find a valuable artifact. This search has led her to The Two Rivers.

In the main cast, Coster-Waldau Bair is portrayed as the venerable elder and highly esteemed figure among the Taardad Aiel. Gunnarsdóttir will bring Melaine to life, a wise one who lacks the capacity to channel. Landberg steps into the role of Rhuarc, a respected leader of the Taardad Aiel clan. Lund joins the newcomers as Melindhra, a Malkieri survivor who was adopted and nurtured by the Taardad Aiel.

Five additional actors have joined the existing cast in “The Wheel of Time” production. This ensemble already features Rosamund Pike, Daniel Henney, Zoë Robins, and Madeleine Madden. Notably, this series is a collaboration between Sony Pictures Television and Amazon MGM Studios, and it’s adapted from Robert Jordan’s renowned fantasy book series with the same title.

“The Wheel of Time” season three premieres globally March 13 on Prime Video.

DATES

Three distinct projects featuring Tom Green are set to debut on Amazon Prime Video in January. These include a documentary, a humor-filled standup special, and an unrehearsed television series.

The Tom Green Documentary, titled ‘This Is The Tom Green Documentary’, premieres on January 24th. This fascinating exploration delves into Green’s journey across comedy, film, and internet culture. The documentary showcases previously unseen raw footage, chronicling Green’s transition from Canada to Hollywood, as well as the ups and downs he experienced throughout his career.

Starting January 28th, you can catch the comedy special “Tom Green: I Got a Mule!” This latest performance is based on his recent tour through North America. Additionally, beginning January 31st, the unscripted series “Tom Green Country” will premiere, featuring Tom as he swaps city life for rural farm living.

All three titles will be available to stream across 240 countries and territories worldwide.
