PowerWash Simulator 2 – Cross-Play, Split-Screen, And Cross-Saves Explained

PowerWash Simulator 2 is incredibly relaxing to play on your own, letting you happily spend hours cleaning away dirt and grime. But you can also play with up to three friends! Team up to tackle the game’s toughest cleaning jobs together. Here’s a breakdown of how split-screen, crossplay, and cross-progression work in PowerWash Simulator 2.

Does PowerWash Simulator 2 have split-screen?

If you and a friend want to play PowerWash Simulator 2 together on the same screen, it’s easy! Just go to the multiplayer menu and choose “Start Split-Screen Session” to begin cleaning together.

Does PowerWash Simulator 2 have crossplay?

Whether you can play PowerWash Simulator 2 with friends on different devices depends on what systems everyone is using. Players on Xbox and PC can play together in multiplayer by creating a game room and sharing the code with up to three others. Currently, players on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch can only play with others on the same platform, and this may not change in the future.

FuturLab has suggested they might add crossplay between the PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2, but they haven’t officially confirmed it. It’s probably not going to happen, as the first game didn’t have this feature either.

Does PowerWash Simulator 2 have cross-progression?

If you like playing games on more than one device, you might find this frustrating. PowerWash Simulator 2 doesn’t let you carry your progress across different platforms. That means if you switch to playing on a different system – like from PC to PlayStation – you’ll have to start the game over.

Currently, FuturLab hasn’t announced any plans to allow players to transfer their progress between platforms. So, make sure you pick the platform that works best for you and your friends before you start playing.
