Today marks a significant milestone for Crytek’s Hunt: Showdown, set in 1896! The game is now available on Xbox Game Pass, and to make things even more exciting, the Murder Circus event begins today. Guess who’s joining the festivities? None other than the ardent fan of Hunt: Showdown himself – Post Malone!

In a twist of fate, Post Malone assumes the role of a fallen Ringmaster, deceived by a mysterious traveler who swindled him with a trinket that transformed people into monstrous beings. Now, on a quest for retribution, you can catch more of this intriguing narrative in the trailer below, entitled “The Show Must Go On.

The Murder Circus show will continue until February 10, 2025. During this event, several fresh creatures to battle emerge, such as the Ursa Mortis bear and circus grunts armed with knives. Furthermore, there are 55 additional stages in the reward track for the battle pass that gamers can advance through to acquire more items. On Steam, Hunt: Showdown experienced its most successful day following the release of the 1896 update in August.
