On Wednesday, Charlie Kirk, a well-known conservative political figure active on YouTube, tragically lost his life during a speech he was delivering at Utah Valley University.
In videos shared on social media, Kirk was speaking under a tent in the college’s courtyard when sudden gunshots echoed, hitting him during his speech. The footage shows students scrambling to safety as the sound of gunfire filled the air.
The occasion took place as part of the American Comeback Tour, which was organized by Turning Point USA’s chapter based in Utah Valley.
Around 12:10 today, a gunshot occurred targeting the guest speaker, Charlie Kirk, as reported by Utah Valley University in their official statement.
In a recent post, Donald Trump announced the passing of Charlie Kirk. He wrote, “Charlie Kirk, who was not only remarkable but also legendary, has sadly passed away. There may be no one else who grasped or showed as much passion for the hearts and souls of America’s youth like Charlie did.
Everyone adored and respected him immensely, including myself, but tragically, he’s now gone from us. My deepest condolences are extended to his beloved wife Erika, and the entire family. We all cherished Charlie.
