Fitness influencer Matt Morsia, known as ‘MattDoesFitness,’ was surprised when police asked him for a photo while making an arrest.
It’s common for influencers, whether they have a large or small following, to be recognized by fans and asked for photos. This can happen anywhere – while they’re shopping, eating out, or even just at work. People often approach them for a quick picture.
Similar to celebrities, some popular online influencers are now asking fans to respect their personal space, especially when they’re eating out. MrBeast explained that fans attempting to take selfies with him in public can create major problems – he was even asked to leave a Walmart once because the commotion disrupted staff and customers.
Okay, so this is kinda wild – I heard about what happened to MattDoesFitness when he was on vacation in France. Apparently, the police recognized him and just wanted to take a selfie! It’s funny to think about getting pulled over for a fan pic, right?
MattDoesFitness stopped by police for photo while arresting someone
A fitness instructor and competitor on the UK show Gladiators shared a video of a funny encounter with a police officer. The officer pulled him over not to question him, but to ask for a quick photo – all while the instructor was in the process of arresting someone else!
Okay, so this is hilarious. My friend Morsia posted on Instagram saying, ‘Imagine you’re getting arrested, but you have to stop for a quick photo with MattDoesFitness!’ She even joked that, like, breaking the law could totally wait for the pic. It’s so funny because MattDoesFitness is a popular fitness guy, and the idea of prioritizing a photo op during an arrest is just wild!
MattDoesFitness said the arrest was really awkward for the man, who had to stand there while the officer took a picture of him.

“Still can’t believe this actually happened,” his wife, Sarah Morsia, commented.
Some people thought it might be a performance by Morsia. “That can’t be real!” exclaimed one person, while another wondered aloud, “What was that?!”
People are saying someone might lose their job for taking a picture with the influencer while on duty. It’s unclear if they’ll face legal consequences, considering their connection to the situation.
