Pokimane generally keeps her personal life to herself, but she occasionally has to address rumors spread by fans. Recently, she had to respond to speculation that arose after she was seen with American rapper and former Kpop star Mark Tuan.
Mark Tuan first became known as a member of the K-pop group Got7, which he joined in 2014. He contributed to the group by writing his own rap verses and lyrics. More recently, he’s been pursuing his own music and creative projects as a solo artist.

Fans convinced Pokimane dating music artist Mark Tuan
On November 19th, the 32-year-old artist joined Pokimane in a TikTok video where they participated in the trending ‘Ocean Eyes’ challenge.
The video shows Pokimane lip-syncing to Billie Eilish’s ‘Ocean Eyes’ while standing with Tuan. She then playfully covers the camera with her hand, cutting to a clip of just herself.
Fans’ interest was piqued instantly, with a top commenter asking, “What’s Mark Tuan doing here?”
“Being a very nice and sweet guy,” the streamer replied.
Someone wondered if Pokimane and Tuan were quietly confirming they were dating, asking if this was a subtle way of revealing a romantic relationship.
The next day, Pokimane made a TikTok explaining the comment, stating she won’t reveal a relationship publicly until she’s actually married.
She started by saying, “Let’s be absolutely clear: the only time you’ll see me quietly trying something out is if I’m showing off a ring on my finger. Basically, a man is just a man to me until he becomes my husband.”
I tend to categorize people very simply, like a government form with limited options – single, married, divorced. That’s how I see things with everyone, and then I’m done with the interaction. Basically, I acknowledge them and move on.
Fans recently got an update on Pokimane’s personal life after she discussed her breakup with a long-term boyfriend, which happened over the summer. Some viewers thought this ex might be the same person she’d previously shared a ‘relationship contract’ with back in 2022.
