Popular streamer Pokimane has grown tired of the rumors about her recent living arrangements, as she recently disclosed that she is now sharing a home with fellow broadcaster Josh Ellum.

Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys regularly shares tours of her new homes with her followers whenever she relocates, but her recent living space has sparked a few surprised reactions among them.

On February 10, 2025, Poki conducted a live stream to display her recently renovated broadcasting space, which is shared with Josh Ellum, a well-known streamer with more than 200K followers on Twitch, in the house they both call home.

As an enthusiastic follower, I excitedly recall the moment when they playfully shared their exciting news, hinting that Ellum inadvertently spoiled the surprise in the title of his own livestream. Initially, the broadcast was met with widespread approval from viewers. However, it didn’t take long before some began to ponder if there was something more than friendship brewing between these housemates.

Pokimane confirms she’s single after revealing new roommate

On the very same day, Pokimane responded to those fan speculations with a series of concise tweets, asking her followers to refrain from presuming she’s in a relationship with someone merely because we engage with them.

She’s content being alone right now, and sometimes people may not know her relationship status. It’s important to remember this, as it can be inappropriate to assume things about someone without knowing. She’ll let everyone know when she gets married though.

I’d appreciate it if you didn’t automatically assume that I’m in a relationship just because we interact. I’m currently single and happy, and assuming otherwise can be disrespectful to others since their relationship status might not always be known. I’ll certainly share the news when I get married! 🤭🫶🏻

Despite her attempts to keep this private, someone still debated against her stance, stating in a post: “Given that you and the man share a roof, people naturally presume you’re in a relationship. You might as well accept it.

Are you living in the olden days?” Anys replied. “People can be friends, housemates, colleagues, and so on, without it having to turn romantic. It seems you haven’t encountered such friendships yet, I guess.

In my gaming world, even though we’re in a time-travel game set in the 1800s, it’s important to note that friendships between women and men can be as diverse as they are today. They can span roles like roommates, colleagues, or teammates, without the need for romantic entanglements. It’s all about mutual respect and understanding, just like in our modern-day gaming community!

In the summer of 2024, Pokimane publicly announced for the first time that she was single again, having ended a long-term relationship with an unnamed individual whom some speculated to be Kevin Kim, a person she had frequently showcased in her live streams since 2022.

Currently, Poki is savoring her single lifestyle to the fullest while starting an exciting fresh chapter in a novel residence, following her attendance at the 2025 Grammys.
