Pokemon Legends: Z-A Ralt Guide – Where to catch and how to evolve Ralts

In Pokémon Legends: Z-A, you’ll find most Pokémon roaming in Wild Zones, but some appear only outside of these areas. Some Pokémon, like Dratini, appear randomly at certain spots, while others consistently spawn in specific locations. Ralts is one of these – it’s a popular catch because it can evolve in different ways depending on its gender. Finding Ralts isn’t always simple, but thankfully, there’s a reliable way to catch it. Here’s where to look and how to do it.

Where to catch Ralts

Ralts Location

If you’re playing shortly after the game launched, you could easily get a Ralts and a Gardevoirite as a free gift. However, this offer doesn’t last forever. Since both Gardevoir and Gallade are popular Pokémon with powerful Mega Evolutions, many players want to know how to find and evolve Ralts into whichever one they prefer.

You can reliably find a Ralts on the roof of the Galerie de la Lune in Rouge Sector 2. It will always reappear after you catch it, though one particular sidequest might temporarily prevent it from spawning. While using Rotom Glide makes getting up there easier, you can also jump onto the roof to battle and catch the Ralts. This is the most consistent and well-known Ralts spawn point, so it’s the easiest place to look whenever you need one.

How to evolve Ralts into Gardevoir or Gallade

Dawn Stone Location

Ralts evolves into Kirlia, but deciding between Gardevoir and Gallade is more complicated. Only male Kirlia can become Gallade, while both male and female Kirlia can become Gardevoir. In recent games, you can manually evolve Pokémon at certain levels. However, in older games, a male Kirlia would automatically evolve into Gardevoir unless you specifically took steps to evolve it into Gallade or prevented it from leveling up.

If you want to evolve Kirlia into Gallade, you’ll need a Dawn Stone. You can find these stones scattered around Lumiose City, or eventually purchase them at the Stone Emporium in the southern part of the city. To get Gardevoir, just level up your Kirlia. However, to evolve Kirlia into Gallade, it must be male, and you need to use a Dawn Stone on it.

Wondering where to find the Mega Stone for your Gardevoir or Gallade? We’ve got the information you need, but be careful – the location might spoil parts of the game if you haven’t progressed far enough. Now that you have your new Pokémon, have fun and enjoy the rest of your time in Lumiose City!
