Pokemon Legends: Z-A is out now for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2! Like other Pokemon games, it includes the Mystery Gift feature, which lets you get bonuses for pre-ordering, use special codes to receive items, and more. While some codes are only for certain regions, this guide will show you all the currently active Pokemon Legends: Z-A Mystery Gift codes, as well as codes that have expired, when you unlock the Mystery Gift feature in the game, and how to redeem them.

Okay, so right now the only Mystery Gift codes that work are the ones I got for pre-ordering the game digitally, or for getting an early purchase bonus. Basically, they’re tied to *my* specific purchase, not those general codes The Pokémon Company usually posts online. I’ll definitely update everyone when they release some new, shareable codes!

How to redeem Mystery Gifts and serial codes in Pokemon Legends: Z-A

After you finish setting things up as described, you’ll see Mable’s Research and Link Play on your phone. Open Link Play, then choose Mystery Gift. From there, you can get gifts over the internet, using a code, or check for any available gifts.

How to claim Ralts holding a Gardevoirite in Pokemon Legends: Z-A

If you buy Pokémon Legends: Z-A (either the physical game or a digital download) before February 28, 2026, you can receive a Ralts holding a Gardevoirite. To claim your Ralts, select “Get via Internet” in the game’s Mystery Gift feature before February 28, 2026. You’ll need to be connected to the internet and have a Nintendo Account linked to your user profile to get it.






How to claim 100 Poke Balls early purchase bonus in Pokemon Legends: Z-A

If you bought the digital version of Pokemon Legends: Z-A, you should have received a code for 100 free Poke Balls. To get this bonus, you needed to make your purchase by February 28, 2026. The code was likely sent to the email address linked to your Nintendo Account or the one you used with the store where you bought the game. You can redeem the code through the Mystery Gift feature in the game using the “Redeem Code/Password” option.

How to claim the Luxurious Poke Ball Set bonus in Pokemon Legends: Z-A

Okay, so if I pre-order the Pokemon Legends: Z-A DLC – Mega Dimension before February 28th, 2026, I get a code for a really cool set of Poke Balls! It’s called the Luxurious Poke Ball Set and it comes with four different styles. Apparently, it doesn’t matter *where* I buy it from – whether it’s a digital download or a code from a store, I’ll still get the code for the set!

  • Fast Balls × 3 – More effective when catching Pokémon that are usually very quick to run away.
  • Lure Balls × 3 – More effective when catching Pokémon in or on the water.
  • Level Balls × 3 – Becomes more effective the lower the level of the Pokémon compared to your own Pokémon.
  • Heavy Balls × 3 – Becomes more effective the heavier the Pokémon is.

When does the Mystery Gift feature in Pokemon Legends: Z-A unlock

You can unlock the Mystery Gift feature in Pokémon Legends: Z-A after about an hour of gameplay. To do so, you’ll need to finish the tutorial, catch five different Pokémon species, and reach the Pokémon Research Lab. This usually happens as you complete the initial five-Pokémon challenge in the first open area during the tutorial after downloading the app for the story. Once you’re at the Pokémon Research Lab, go to the third floor and speak with the acting director, Mable. After your conversation with Mable, you’ll gain access to Link Play and the Mystery Gift feature.



How many Pokemon Legends: Z-A Mystery Gift serial codes can you redeem on a single save?

You can redeem as many different bonus codes as you like in a single game, but each code can only be used one time. If you’ve already claimed the bonus from a code – like 100 Poke Balls – you won’t be able to redeem that same code again, even in a different save file. Bonus codes received for early or pre-orders are designed for one-time use only.
