February Community Day

The special event for Pokemon Go’s Community Day falls on the 9th of February, and during this occasion, both Shelmet and Karrablast will be the main focus characters.

Between 2 and 5 PM in your local timezone, the spotlight Pokémon will show up in the wild much more often, and you’ll find it easier to stumble upon their shiny variations.

Beyond that, during the event, you’ll find numerous bonuses. For instance, Lure Modules and Incense will last three hours instead of their normal time, and you’ll get triple Experience Points (XP) and double candy for capturing Pokemon. Furthermore, trades will require only half the usual amount of Stardust, and you can perform up to two Special Trades each day.

In summary, if you manage to evolve both Shelmet into Accelgor and Karrablast into Escavalier before February 16, at 10 PM local time, they’ll gain access to unique moves: Accelgor will learn Energy Ball, a Charged Attack, and Escavalier will acquire Razor Shell, another Charged Attack.

Beloved Buddies

Pokemon Go continues the celebration with an upcoming event named “Beloved Buddies” that’s scheduled from February 11th through the 15th. Further specifics about this event will be shared as we get closer to the date.

Plus, the game will award up to five additional free Raid Passes when you spin the Photo Disc at Gyms, and during this event, the limit on Remote Raid Passes has been expanded to 20.

To wrap it up, there’ll be a fresh, purchasable event ticket available in the store at a cost of $5. Purchasing this ticket grants players extra perks throughout the event, such as gaining 50% more XP and twice as much Stardust from Raid Battles.

Scattered To The Winds

A fresh happening titled “Scattered to the Winds” is scheduled for the dates of February 18th to 20th. Further information about it will be disclosed towards the end of this month.
