Okay, so Halloween’s coming up, which means it’s Pokeween time for us Pokemon fans! A bunch of official Play! Pokemon centers are hosting events next month, and you can actually win some free stuff just by showing up and participating. It’s gonna be awesome!
From October 1st to 31st, special Pokeween events are happening at certain stores, as announced on the official Pokemon website. Attendees will receive a “Trick or Trade” booster pack, a Pokemon Go code for a random item like rare candy, incense, or a lucky egg, and a special Spiritomb promo card. Plus, it’s a great chance to connect with fellow Pokemon fans!
We invite fans to celebrate Pokeween! Feel free to dress up as your favorite Pokemon, or just come as you are to trade cards and talk about the game. You can find participating stores near you – including local hobby shops – using the Play! Locator. Keep in mind that each store might host its Pokeween event on different dates and times.
Mexican Pokémon fans can enjoy a special lucha libre event in Mexico City on September 25th, celebrating the upcoming game, Pokémon Legends: Z-A. The game launches on Nintendo Switch and the new Switch 2 on October 16th, and Nintendo has just revealed details about paid downloadable content. For fans in London, a Pokémon pop-up store is planned to open in 2026.
