PlayStation State Of Play Set To Air Later This Month – Report

It appears that reports suggest Sony will broadcast its upcoming PlayStation State of Play event sometime within this month, potentially during the week of Valentine’s Day.

According to industry expert NateTheHate2, who accurately predicted the release date for the Nintendo Switch 2, when asked about the upcoming State of Play broadcast, he cryptically replied, “What does your intuition suggest?” This could possibly indicate a connection to Valentine’s Day.

Regarding potential revelations at the next State of Play event, there are plans to unveil Death Stranding 2 and Ghost of Yotei this year. However, Insomniac Games, following recent management changes, has not yet announced a release date for Marvel’s Wolverine.

Due to the rocky launch of PlayStation’s live-service projects, such as the alleged cancellation of a live-service God of War and the closure of Concord, it remains uncertain when we might expect the release of Haven Studio’s Fairgames or Bungie’s Marathon.

Previously, an anonymous source indicated that Nintendo would hold a Direct event in February, primarily centered around the original Switch console. Meanwhile, regarding PlayStation updates, The Last of Us Part 2’s sequel series is slated for release in April. This show will incorporate certain events from The Last of Us Part 2 and present numerous fresh characters. Of particular interest is Abby Anderson, portrayed by Kaitlyn Dever.
