As a long-time gamer who has spent countless hours navigating virtual worlds and saving digital realms, I must say that this month’s PlayStation Plus free games have truly piqued my interest! The trio of offerings – Aliens: Dark Descent, It Takes Two, and Temtem – presents a tantalizing mix of genres and gameplay styles.
This month, Sony has unveiled the lineup of free games for PlayStation Plus subscribers. Starting December 3rd, PS Plus members will be able to grab a set of three free titles: Aliens: Dark Descent, It Takes Two, and Temtem. Remember to claim November’s PlayStation Plus free games if you haven’t already, as the new ones will become available on December 3rd.
Among the top-tier cooperative games ever created, “It Takes Two” skillfully blends platforming with creative teamwork. In this game, you and a partner assume the roles of Cody and May, a couple experiencing turbulence in their relationship who find themselves trapped within a fantastical realm. To progress through the game’s unique obstacles and potentially heal a fractured bond, players must collaborate effectively. Since its initial release a few years back, “It Takes Two” has enjoyed both critical acclaim and commercial success, and its creator, Josef Fares, recently hinted that Hazelight Studios is developing a new project set to be published by EA once more.
From my perspective as a die-hard fan, Aliens: Dark Descent flips the script on cooperative platforming games. Instead, you find yourself immersed in a real-time strategy experience, commanding a team of Colonial Space Marines as they navigate through a lethal Xenomorph infestation on the moon of Lethe. The communication lines have gone silent, leaving you to uncover the mystery and ensure our survival. You can tailor the abilities, weapons, and skills of your soldiers, even though the core gameplay may become somewhat repetitive, it offers an unparalleled journey into the Alien universe.
Ultimately, Temtem offers a fresh twist on the popular ‘catch-and-train’ concept pioneered by Pokemon. You’ll traverse six islands known as the Airborne Archipelago, meet numerous Temtems, and work to master them as you strive to become the best, surpassing all others. The game incorporates MMO aspects, allowing you to collaborate with other players for trading Temtem or engaging in fierce competitions.
