Twitch streamer and music producer PlaqueBoyMax has been hospitalized for ten days. Doctors are still trying to figure out what’s causing an infection and concerning symptoms he’s experiencing.
PlaqueBoyMax used to be part of FaZe Clan, but he left in August 2025 to work on his own things.
Okay, so Max is HUGE on Twitch – he’s got over 2 million followers! What really makes him stand out is how much he connects with his fans and other streamers. But get this – he also makes music, and he’s actually collaborated with some really famous rappers like Wiz Khalifa and DDG. It’s pretty awesome!
Things have been kinda weird lately. My doctor’s got me totally stumped – I’ve been feeling sick for about a week and a half, and honestly, nobody seems to know what’s going on. I’ve mostly been offline because of it, just trying to figure things out.
PlaqueBoyMax hospitalized with unknown illness
PlaqueBoyMax was first admitted to the hospital on September 15th, originally telling his fans he’d hurt his shoulder. During Kai Cenat’s Mafiathon 3 livestream, Tylil revealed more details, explaining that Max woke up with intense shoulder pain and began vomiting while being transported to the hospital.
Tylil explained that PlaqueBoyMax is in the hospital with him because Max woke up with shoulder pain, started vomiting while on the way to the hospital, and currently can’t move his neck or right arm. Sending good thoughts to Max!

Tylil reported that Max was unable to move his neck or right arm. Over the following week, Plaque occasionally posted updates from the hospital, sharing videos of himself in bed and encouraging his fans to appreciate their own good health.

On September 25th, after ten days of silence, Max shared an update with his audience, explaining he’d been dealing with an infection.
He shared in a video from the hospital that he had a very serious infection. Doctors were amazed by how severe it was. He explained that the infection made it impossible to move his arm and caused intense pain while walking, making it difficult for him to even stand.
The streamer shared some good news: he’s starting to get movement back in his right arm. However, he’s still in the hospital, even though doctors said he could potentially be released five days ago.

PlaqueBoyMax recently shared that he was hospitalized for 10 days with a serious infection. Doctors reportedly told him it was unlike anything they’d ever seen. He’s unsure when he’ll be able to go home, but is grateful for all the support he’s received.

People are sending positive thoughts and hoping the streamer gets well soon and can return to streaming quickly.
Plaque isn’t the only FaZe Clan streamer to worry fans with health issues. Earlier in 2024, StableRonaldo revealed he was experiencing migraines and vision problems, and asked his audience if he should seek medical attention.
