Starting from January, students in Japan can enjoy their perfect study snack with Pizza Hut’s KitKat Handy Melt, more commonly known as the “Kitto Meccha Melting Handy Melt.” This tasty treat is designed to keep students energized and focused during their study sessions.
Pizza Hut shared on Instagram that the portable pizza filled with gooey cheese and a whole KitKat bar is designed specifically for students cramming for their tests, being marketed towards “those preparing for their exams.
Enjoying a fusion of Pizza Hut’s cheesy goodness and the delightful crunch of KitKat chocolate, you create a taste sensation that simply melts on your tongue! Pizza Hut’s Instagram post suggests, ‘I hope this could offer a small respite during your busy days as you strive for your dreams. Maybe, just maybe, enjoying this treat could help Kit Kat tackle any problem you might encounter.’

Pizza Hut Japan’s Handy Melt will be sold for 430 yen
Under the first partnership between Pizza Hut and KitKat, The Handy Melt is being introduced, but only for a brief period. For each chocolate-filled, dough-based snack, you’ll pay 430 yen, which equals approximately $2.72.
2023 saw Pizza Hut Japan introducing Hut Melts on their menu, a tasty twist on the popular Kitto Meccha Handy Melt dish.
Yet, by the year 2022, Pizza Hut USA introduced a new menu item called Hut Melts. This dish is available in various flavors such as pepperoni, buffalo chicken, meat lovers, and many others.
Regardless of the novelty of the Kitto Meccha Handy Melt on Pizza Hut Japan’s menu, they have excelled at regularly introducing fresh, one-of-a-kind, time-limited choices to their customers.
By March 2024, Pizza Hut Japan discretely introduced the Grilled Cheese Ramen and, come June, the Magical Circle Cheese Pizza was also included on their menu.
