Pizza Hut has done it again, creating a surprising new food combination! They’ve introduced the Kopi-zza – a pizza actually made with coffee – to their menu.
You can only find the Kopi-zza in Brunei, a small country on the island of Borneo. The name ‘Kopi’ is Malay for coffee, and Pizza Hut really embraced that by combining the taste of their classic pizza with the smell and flavor of coffee. It’s a pretty unusual combination!
The unusual pie was originally only available for two weeks, but Pizza Hut has kept it on the menu due to incredibly high customer demand. While the company acknowledges it’s a bit of a strange combination, they assure customers that trying it will explain all the buzz.

Coffee pizza continues Pizza Hut’s wild menu experiments
This isn’t the first time the restaurant has tried something unusual. Canadian customers especially remember a past creation: a poutine pizza topped with fries, gravy, steak, cheese curds, and mozzarella.
The chain also famously offered a pizza with a crust stuffed with hot dogs, a decision that people still talk about and share online whenever fast food trends become popular.
Pizza Hut has seen success with its more unusual menu items in 2025. In Japan, they launched the KitKat Handy Melt – a unique, cheese-and-dessert creation that became an instant hit online. They also introduced an improved ramen pizza, taking inspiration from the famous Jiro ramen style.
As 2026 approaches, everyone’s wondering if Kopi-zza – the coffee-flavored pizza – will remain a unique treat only found in Brunei, or if it will become popular in North America and Europe. If it’s as delicious as people say, pizza lovers around the world might soon be able to try it.
