In a stunning development, the cooperative shooter game titled “Phantom Line” (playable solo to four-player), set in the post-nuclear landscape of Europe, received a fresh playtest recently. The game’s participants will be thrust into the role of an elite special operations team, employed by Mortfield Industries via its H.U.S.K program. With H.U.S.K, players gain the ability to transfer their consciousness among artificial bodies, allowing tacticians to adapt and respond swiftly in this harrowing environment.
Here’s a sneak peek of what we’ve been diligently developing since our last trial run. We’re thrilled to share it with you and hope you’re just as enthusiastic! The game is currently in its early stages, but we’re tirelessly working to refine the main gameplay mechanics. On behalf of the team, I want to express my gratitude for your patience, encouragement, and valuable input that has significantly influenced our latest playtest.
In your role as an exceptional operator for a top-tier organization called H.U.S.K., you’ll be tasked with managing abnormalities that could disrupt the very structure of the universe. Fortunately, you won’t just be effective; you’ll do it in flair! You’ll have the option to personalize your H.U.S.K unit and even your living quarters, serving as a testament to your accomplishments. This upcoming trial run will introduce new firearms, weapon enhancements, and night vision capabilities.
The demo is accompanied by a brand-new trailer. Check it out for yourself just below:
Developers caution that humanity is engaged in a battle against an unusual terror, and to combat this, one must transform into such a terror themselves. The demo for the game Phantom Line is now available on Steam for players to experience, with access keys being distributed via the official Phantom Line Discord channel. However, it’s important to note that the game has not yet been given a specific release date as it is still in its early development stage (pre-alpha).
