According to our sources, Peter Dinklage is set to appear in “Dexter: Resurrection” on Paramount+, a project previously associated with Showtime.
Previously, it was revealed that Michael C. Hall, famous for his role in “Dexter”, will once again play the main character, the serial killer Dexter. The upcoming series, titled “Resurrection,” does not yet disclose its plot details but is confirmed to continue directly from where “Dexter: New Blood” left off. Filming for this series commenced in New York in January, aiming for a summer premiere.
Besides Dinklage and Hall, other cast members join us as well, including Uma Thurman, David Zayas, James Remar, and Jack Alcott.
Dinklage and Hall are not the only actors in this production; they are joined by Uma Thurman, David Zayas, James Remar, and Jack Alcott as well.
Peter Dinklage will portray Leon Prater, who is characterized as a wealthy venture capitalist. While appearing to be a benevolent philanthropist to the public eye, there’s a hidden world of mystery and manipulation beneath his refined facade.
Peter Dinklage has garnered four Emmys, a Golden Globe, and is most recognized for his lead part on the popular HBO show “Game of Thrones”. Interestingly, despite this TV fame, he’s predominantly worked in films throughout his screen career. His filmography includes titles such as “The Station Agent”, “I Care A Lot”, “Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri”, “My Dinner with Herve”, and “Cyrano”. His latest cinematic role was that of Dr. Dillamond in the successful adaptation of the musical “Wicked”.
Dinklage is repped by CAA and Jackoway Austen Tyerman.
As a movie enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that “Resurrection” is the newest endeavor to expand the captivating universe of “Dexter”. Joining “New Blood”, Paramount has introduced the prequel series “Dexter: Original Sin”, with Patrick Gibson stepping into the main role. Michael C. Hall lends his voice, continuing to narrate the intriguing tale.
Clyde Phillips takes on both showrunner and executive producer roles for “Dexter: Resurrection.” Additionally, Hall, Scott Reynolds, Tony Hernandez, and Lilly Burns are all executive producers. Marcos Siega will be in charge of production and direction for six out of the ten episodes, while Monica Raymund will direct the remaining four. The series is being produced by Showtime Studios and Counterpart Studios, and it’s distributed through Paramount Global Content Distribution.
