Persona5: The Phantom X Expansion Adds New Location and Phantom THief

Get ready to return to school and plan some new heists! SEGA has released a major story update for Persona 5: The Phantom X, the popular spin-off game that combines the Persona 5 world with collectible characters and a brand-new story. This update shows there’s still plenty to discover in the Persona 5 universe.

Version 3.0 is a huge update packed with new content! Players can explore real-world locations, participate in limited-time events, earn exclusive rewards and gifts, and unlock a brand-new Phantom Thief. This update significantly expands the game, so here’s a closer look at what’s included.

The Path to Unconditional Love and Exclusive Rewards

The Version 3.0 update finally releases Part 3 of the main story, Unconditional Love Phase 3, continuing the game’s central storyline.

After their difficult fight with Katayama’s Shadow, the Palace lost its power and was closed. Now, the team will focus on the real world, searching for a way to reactivate the Palace and finish dealing with its leader.

Players will now see the gang taking action in the real world to find a way to reopen the Palace

To mark the beginning of this exciting new update, we’re holding a special launch event! Players can earn Meta Jewels and Joy Medals by completing challenges, and there’s also a chance to get exclusive items like Plum Blossom Dango. This event won’t last forever, so be sure to join in before it ends on February 5th at 1:59 AM UTC.

Meet the New Phantom Thief: Frostgale Kotone

Version 3.0 adds a new, powerful Phantom Thief named Frostgale Kotone, codenamed Mont. She’s a rare 5-star character, making her one of the strongest units available. Players can also obtain her unique weapon, the Silent Pistols, through Arms Deals.

Frostgale Kotone is a flexible assassin who can switch between Wind and Ice powers. This changes the skills she uses. When she’s in Ice form, she weakens enemies and protects allies while charging up strong attacks. As Wind, she boosts her team’s abilities and unleashes a flurry of powerful blows.

As a huge fan, I’m really excited about how this character gets stronger the more teammates she has who share her special traits! It’s a clever way to build a team, and honestly, it feels like the creators really thought about synergy. It reminds me of Joker and how much he values teamwork!
