Persona 5: The Phantom X version 3.4 update adds Persona 5 Royal crossover with Kasumi “Violet” Yoshizawa

Sega and Atlus have released update 3.4 for Persona 5: The Phantom X on both Japanese and global versions. The biggest addition is a new crossover story inspired by Persona 5 Royal, and players can now recruit Kasumi “Violet” Yoshizawa as a Phantom Thief.

Violet will be released on servers outside of East Asia with a different schedule than her initial release there, and even the planned schedule has changed again recently. Unlike East Asian servers, which added Goro Akechi before Mayumi Hashimoto, Japanese and global players will first get Mayumi on April 2nd, and then Goro two weeks later.

Below you’ll find an archive of the latest Persona X-Stream. Players on the Southeast Asian server will likely receive updates about a week after those on the Japanese and Global servers. Persona 5: The Phantom X is now available on PC, Android, and iOS devices worldwide.

SEGA has launched update 3.4 for Persona 5: The Phantom X, bringing content from Persona 5 Royal to the mobile and PC versions. The update includes a special event called Crossroads of Fate: Laboratory Arc Part 1, and introduces Kasumi Yoshizawa, known as Violet, as a new playable character.

◆ P5R special event Crossroads of Fate: Laboratory Arc Part 1

A new event introduces Violet (Kasumi Yoshizawa) as a playable character! In this event, the Phantom Thieves from Persona 5 Strikers join forces with the Phantom Thieves from Persona 5 Royal. Players can explore a unique Palace filled with tough bosses and earn valuable rewards like Gold Tickets and Platinum Milicoins, used for unlocking content through Contracts. The event runs until April 2nd, 2026, at 1:59 AM UTC.

● Crossroads of Fate: Laboratory Arc Part 1  

Wonder takes Lufel to Shibuya hoping to lift his spirits after a frightening nightmare. But when they leave, a problem with their Metaverse Navigator unexpectedly sends them both into the Metaverse. They find themselves in what appears to be a Palace, but it doesn’t feel hostile. While looking around, they run into Violet, a mysterious Phantom Thief, who mistakenly believes they are Shadows and attacks.

Experience a brand-new story featuring both Persona 5 Royal and Persona 5 Strikers! Join Violet and the Phantom Thieves as you tackle a unique Palace. As you play, you’ll earn special coins that can be traded for valuable items. Completing stages and missions will also reward you with things like dice, Meta Jewels, and more.

● New event: Jose’s Dicey Adventure 

Okay, so in this event, I can use those special dice – the 8-Sided Dice and Loaded Dice – that I got from playing the first part of the Crossroads of Fate: Laboratory Arc to check out Mementos. As I explore, different things will happen that let me snag some rewards. Eventually, I’ll run into a boss for that area, and I’ve gotta beat ’em to keep going. Oh, and I should definitely collect Flowers while I’m in there because I can trade those for Gold Tickets, Kagura Bells, and other cool stuff!

● Boss Battle 

Defeat challenging bosses tied to different difficulty levels to earn Loaded Dice and Joy Medals. You can trade these for Wonder’s special weapon and other cool items. After beating a level, you’ll unlock Stamina Mode, where you can replay it using stamina to get Abnormal Rebel Coins and even more rewards by defeating the boss again.

● Kasumi Yoshizawa makes an appearance at Leblanc! 

Kasumi Yoshizawa will be visiting Café Leblanc in Yongen-Jaya. Participating in certain activities around town will unlock rewards.

◆ The new 5★ Phantom Thief Kasumi Yoshizawa has arrived! 

A new playable character, Kasumi Yoshizawa, joins the game as a 5-star Phantom Thief! She’s available through the limited-time “Most Wanted Phantom Idol Contract,” which also increases your chances of getting other Phantom Thieves. You can also get her exclusive 5-star weapon, the Silent Pistol, from the Arms Deals. This special contract ends on April 16th, 2026, at 1:59 AM UTC.

▼ The Most Wanted Phantom Idol: 5★ Kasumi Yoshizawa (Codename: Violet) 

Kasumi is a powerful 5-star Assassin character with a special ability: she can use her ‘Highlight’ attack at any time, and it has a chance to deal extra damage. Her weapon further boosts this damage. If a teammate uses ‘Highlight,’ Kasumi’s ‘Highlight’ attacks become even stronger. Build a team around characters who can boost ‘Highlight’ to maximize Kasumi’s damage and apply multiple buffs to enemies.
