The Big Band Concert debuted last December in three Japanese cities: Tokyo (Shinjuku), Kobe, and Yokohama (Pia Arena MM). The band is directed by Charlie Rosen, who gained recognition after his arrangement of “Last Surprise” from Persona 5 – the battle theme – was nominated for a 2025 Grammy Award for Best Arrangement, Instrumental and Vocals.

Here’s a complete list of the new Asia and Japan tour dates for the 2026 concert.

  • Bangkok, Thailand (Union Hall) – June 16
  • Singapore (Esplanade Concert Hall) – June 23-24
  • Taipei (Legacy Tera) – June 26
  • Yokohama, Japan (Pacifico Yokohama National Convention Hall) – June 30-July 1

Experience the iconic music of the hit game “PERSONA5” like never before, reimagined with a vibrant and authentic big band sound. This concert features music from the incredibly popular “PERSONA” series, which has sold over 22 million copies worldwide, and is brought to life by a stunning ensemble of around 30 top musicians from the US and Japan.

Specifically assembled for this event, the big band is led by Grammy and Tony Award-winning Maestro Charlie Rosen, who handles the arrangements, music direction, and conducting. The performance includes vocals by Lyn, the original singer from “PERSONA5,” alongside incredible musicians from New York’s jazz scene and Japan’s leading players, selected by renowned trumpeter Eric Miyashiro.

“PERSONA5” is celebrated for its diverse and captivating soundtrack, composed by Shoji Meguro, blending genres like jazz, funk, and soul. This concert, which debuted in Japan last year to sold-out crowds exceeding 10,000 fans, presents these beloved songs with the ultimate big band experience.

The concert’s success led to an invitation to perform at Montreux Jazz Festival Japan, sharing the stage with jazz legends like Herbie Hancock and Nate Smith. It proved to be more than just game music, earning enthusiastic praise from dedicated jazz fans and music lovers.

Charlie Rosen also leads “The 8-Bit Big Band,” a Grammy Award-winning orchestra specializing in game music, and was nominated for a Grammy in 2025 for his arrangement of “Last Surprise” from “PERSONA5.”

This “PERSONA5 Special Big Band Concert,” under Rosen’s direction, is gaining global attention as a groundbreaking event that redefines the game music concert experience, delivering exceptional musical quality and captivating entertainment.
